Following the airline’s system crash yesterday which led to delayed flights and crowds of angry passengers, Nok Air has announced that it will compensate all affected passengers with one free ticket.

Nok Air CEO Patee Sarasin announced on Instagram this afternoon that every passenger who traveled with Nok Air yesterday will receive one free ride on any route to compensate for the inconvenience.

The computer malfunction delayed all Nok Air flights and cause some passengers to miss valuable family time on Mother’s Day.

“Everyone who flew with us yesterday will get a free ticket and Nok Air will contact you,” Patee Sarasin wrote on the airline’s official Instagram account in a caption of a picture of himself, “We apologize for the incident yesterday.”

Some passengers reported their flights being delayed by up to seven hours, causing them to give up on their journeys all together.
